Chemtrol’s high quality Industrial Vertical Submersible Pumps (VSP) Series have a Cantilevered FRP Sleeved SS 316 shaft, positive locked impeller, and nut boxed single stage volute casing. Suction lengths of 300mm and 450mm are available, making it more suitable to clients’ requirements. Chemtrol is in the process of introducing pumps for up to a 3-meter suction lift.
The unique design of the impeller, which includes a positive lock nut and an embedded shaft sleeve, prevents liquid vapours from penetrating the shaft. A step-incorporating PTFE (Teflon) Gasket connects the impeller nut to the impeller. The VSP series features a FRP moulded adapter with a flange and a 25mm thick mounting plate that serves as a support column for the motor, which is an IP-55, flange-mounted motor coated with epoxy enamel for corrosion resistance.
Vertical Submersible Pumps are used in a wide range of applications, such as small pit transfer, tank mounted pumps for small scrubbers, spraying applications, plating shops and pickling tanks.
